Description
Boulder Boxed was founded in Boulder, Colorado. Gift boxes are sold on the Boulder Boxed website. Within each box is a pebble of the larger Boulder, Colorado: from the taste of organic chocolate, to the smell of “pure and natural beeswax candle”. Boulder Boxed hopes to represent Boulder and the pride local companies take in natural products.
Mission
It is estimated that 38% of businesses have a high probability of closing by the end of 2020 (Bartik, Alexander W., et al). We hope to encourage buying locally through the selling of local products within our boxes. During the first six months of Covid-19, our local food bank in Boulder County purchased four times the amount of food than they purchased during the same 6 months in 2019 (Learn About Hunger). Due to this unfortunate fact, we aim to help the Community Food Share as well, by donating all proceeds to them. Our overall goal to help others and strengthen the community when it needs it most, so we appreciate your purchase and are sure others will appreciate your donation as well.
